OT: Improve a Movie by changing a cast member

Nowadays, I've come round to seeing Richard Gere as a really good actor, but way way back in the day, he starred in a movie called King David, who had been king of Israel. Bad as Orlando Bloom was in Kingdom of Heaver, he was a million times better than Gere was in this turkey. So in the remake, we should have Tom Huddlestone as the heroic No.1 Jew.
Oh wait...wasn't his father a Nazi?
