Just watched "Annihilation" with Natilie Portman".

but like DarkManX I also thought it was a bit weird on my initial viewing but the general mood etc of the movie kind of pushed me passed that, especially on a re-watch.

p.s. but the directors top movie is... Ex Machina (2015) (7-7.5/10). that movie also most recently improved on a re-watch which was my 3rd viewing as it was a 7/10 on my first two viewings but went up to it's current score on my 3rd viewing.
