In an interview published on April 12th, Disney CEO Bob Iger stated that following the release of Episode IX - which we’ve since learned will be called “Rise of Skywalker” - Star Wars would be taking a hiatus from the big screen, and instead shift its focus to the Disney streaming service, Disney+
