I counted 25 that I have read. They could have included many better novels. Only one James Michener (my favorite 20th century author). Happy to see some Sherlock Holmes in there (I have read all of Doyle's Holmes stories). Quite a few books here that I had to read in high school. Good list, I suppose, but would have been better if it were centered on the classics.
