He thought the cat was cute. Guys can't think animals are cute? 3 times atleast he was overly petting the cat and googly gaggling over its cuteness. Think that should raise a few eyebrows It was probably done to highlight that Fury at this stage in his career and life is a little less rough around the edges. That or he just really likes cats. Anyone would be curious about alien anatomy.
