Culmination of things really. On top of the things in Captain Marvel there is no mention of a wife or girlfriend when every other Avenger has their sexuality alluded to quite clearly.
Not really. Majority of the Avengers cast don't have their sexuality alluded to clearly. Black Widow, Loki, Falcon, Warmachine, Danvers, Rocket, Nebula, Thanos...
