Not the first story I have heard of some dumb ass repair crew burning down a church they were trying to fix. A few decades ago now the church where my parents got married was burned to the ground because some retard came up with the idea that using a blow torch to strip away old lead paint off wood paneling was a good idea. 
A few years ago another group of idiots burned down a church because an electrical spark set off some wood dust/shavings from the wood they were cutting for new floor boards.
