For ME it's MORE male sung songs and albums.

I think genre plays a role in the number of vocalists of each gender. I listen to heavy metal, which was and still is a male-dominated genre. However there have been, and still are, female vocalists in metal.

For example, the current compilation I'm playing in my car has twelve albums (2014 to 2018 releases). Ten of the albums have male vocalists, and two have female vocalists.
