I've never been able to fathom whether George W Bush was a dumbass or just putting on an act. After all, he graduated from Harvard Business School. I suppose it's possible that his father's reputation got him in of course. But he had to maintain some kind of standard to graduate I would hope.
In the movie "Vice" about Dick Cheney, Bush is portrayed as an airheaded aging fratboy who teams up with Cheney out of insecurity. Apparently the Republican Neo-Cons wanted a goofball frontman so Cheney could actually run everything behind the scenes. The premise of the movie is that Cheney was actually the 43rd President of the United States.
