From the nature of the attacks, including the targeting of international standard hotels, leads me to believe that the most likely primary goal was to heavily impact tourism.It seems so. I don't how effective it will prove to be on the long term tourism but certainly it will negatively affect the short term tourism. I fear a few countries will send out warning messages to their citizens who want to travel to SL.
Yeah that's fair enough and I agree with you in principle.
Already the attack is goning to have wider repercussions. Tourism industry (massive for them) of the small island is very likely to suffer.
