The most offensive part of these "God intervened and saver somebody from death" movies is what it says to people who've had a kid die of leukemia, or drown in a pool, or get kidnapped and raped and murdered. Guess God didn't care about YOUR kid.
One funny thing is how Christian movies always gotta have that character who is an atheist so that we can have that scene where they "see the light" and start to believe, usually with a scene where another character says something to them like, "You might not believe in God, but God believes in YOU".
