It should've been Bucky, not Falcon

That scene was ridiculously jarring for me. Bucky is Steve's longest friend. He's also a more proven soldier in the field. Definitely has more experience. His fighting style will also allow him to utilize the shield better.

Yet for some inexplicable reason Cap gives the shield to Sam? Why?

And what makes it even worse is that old Cap doesn't even say high or goodbye to Bucky. He's just completely ignored.
