Schnepp said it was uneven, but he still liked it. Harloff gave it a resounding MEH (and this was his most anticipated CBM).
Jeff Sneider also said it didn't really work this time. It was too forced (and I felt the first one was too forced).
Even in a lot of the positive reviews (like Frosty from Collider), you can tell that it's not anything groundbreaking.
At worst, it's meh. At best, it's not as good as the first one. Confirmed.
