A second season with the characters would be interesting, but I don't think it can rise to the challenges of what the characters went through this season. The biggest issue would be the murder part, but then that would change the feel of the show.

As a general rule I like mini-series concepts so I'm OK if it ended the way it did.

The author indicated that there could be a second season since the book delves a bit more into some of the characters.
