Isn’t that illegal? How are they making TV shows with the help of fun funded money without Warner Bros permission but fan created games that were free have been taken down by Nintendo? I think you can make fan videos as long as you don't make money off them. But it's a bit of a complicated and tangled mess that I know little about. General Kenobi is right. That does appear to be somewhat of a tangled mess and I can never understand how the rights for these things work either but I think the main reason Nintendo took down the 'Super Mario Bros X' game was 'cause they were creating 'Super Mario Maker' at the time and that game had a level creator in it that had even more things than the game they went onto release including things from 'Super Mario Bros 2' and 'Super Mario World 2' and if Warner Bros decide to make a 'Red Hood' movie or TV show this show might be taken down too just like they take characters away from the 'Arrowverse' when they have plans to use them in the movies but they probably don't care too much about it at the moment. So the story is the makers of Mario Bros X beat Nintendo to creating a Mario Maker and Nintendo stole their idea and closed them down? Can’t complain because they didn’t own Mario to start with but damn. Nintendo played their game back at them and came out on top.
