And the product isn't inferior if yours is a powerhouse program. People aren't interested in watching the Memphis Nobodies take on the Birmingham Whositnows, especially when the rosters are made up of washouts from the NFL. Agree with the rest of the post, but I'd argue that College football is inferior, at least technically. It can be entertaining, but at best a handful of players at a time on the best teams are going to be stars in the NFL. I suppose the coaches are every bit as qualified as any NFL coach, but the general skill level is undeniably lower on the college field than that of the NFL.
