I love onions in many things, and I love seafood. But, to me, they clash with one another.
Onion, Shallots or scallions in a tuna sandwich is revolting. I ordered a tuna sandwich in a little cafe near where I used to work. Onions! The next time I asked if they could omit the onions, and they said they didn't add onions to the tuna mix. It turned out that they had cut the sandwich with a knife that had been used to chop onions. From then, on, they always added a note NOT to cut the bread for my order. I did it, myself.
