Firestarter (1984)
This Stephen King adaptation wasn't well received when first released, and it's been said that King himself dislikes it. But I still think it's pretty good and holds up well. It's generally faithful to the novel, and the special effects and stuntwork are total eye-candy. Well directed by Mark L. Lester. Great cast, too!
