I thought "The Lion King" remake would be the highest grossing film this year, but trying to surpass Endgame seems like a very jaunting task. The next goalpost is above a $350 million opening weekend. That's fucking crazy, man. I figured the Avengers franchise would start experiencing "sequel fatigue" and diminishing returns on their latest film (the first one came out 7 years ago), but I guess I figured wrong.
