Do the Finals start earlier if both these series are sweeps? Warriors need time for KD/boogie. No, the Finals begin May 30 regardless of how long the Conference Finals go. If the Cheatriots was an NBA team instead, they would move mountains and have the league revolve around them to make sure they get into the playoffs, championship and win just as the NFL does for them and they would schedule on the terms of the team.
