It was on tv (terrestrial) last night, so I watched it again. I did enjoy it first time around but on second viewing I thought it was average. It just felt like they were playing for laughs and with an exceptionally poor villain. Sort of like Galaxy Quest with a bigger budget (the villain was better In Galaxy Quest). The scene with Yondu taking out a dozen enemies was one of the many ridiculous scenes. Each to their own I guess. I will watch the second movie but there is nothing to suggest it ill be any better.

I had a similar feeling with number 1, I really enjoyed it in theaters, so when it came on home video I rented it and upon a second viewing lot of that shine wore off.
