These three girls were more interested in taking THIS "selfie", while standing ON a set of railroad tracks... Instead of noticing that a train was coming up behind them, at speed, and blowing it's horn... Sadly, all three girl died. www.up.com/aboutup/community/inside_track/selfie-tragedy-12-7-2016.htmDon't be stupid... Railroad Tracks & Railroad Crossings are NOT playgrounds. They are very Dangerous. Operation LifeSaver: " Look, Listen... And Live!" That's horrifying. How the hell do you not hear a blasted train? Well, the story is a bit confusing... According to the article, the Girls were taking a selfie "next to a train", and it seems that it was STOPPED "nearby"... Then another Train came from the Opposite direction, and hit the girls... The article claims that the second, moving train was the one behind them, and they didn't see it... I find it odd, that the girls would take a selfie "next to a train", and then, take a photo in such a way, as to not get that train in the photo... So, is the train behind them, the one really in motion? If the train that hit them was in front of them, they should have seen it in motion and coming toward them... and should have gotten out of the way... and so, it seems unlikely that the train behind them, is the first one that was stopped... As for the horn, it's possible that they just thought it was from the first train that was stopped, since they were not paying attention to their surroundings... But, still, taking a photo doesn't take several seconds, and they should have wondered why ANY train was blowing it's horn, and should have gotten out of the way... But, the photo shows a "Final Destination" kind of phenomenon... Which is one reason why I posted the photo. The other reason, is just to remind people about the dangers of being around railroads... It seems that, some people, just don't understand that.
