Since I recently re-watched a a movie from the mid 1980s called White Nights 1985. so I've actaully seen a Geraldine Page movie at the cinema without knowing it.
Haven't seen that one, tele, but it doesn't sound like I missed much. That said, with the exception of Hondo, every Geraldine Page film I have seen I saw in the theater when it was first released. I'm very glad for that. I can only imagine what it would have been like to see so many of my favorite films (to pick a few: On the Waterfront in the 50s, The Best Years of Our Lives in the 40s, and It Happened One Night in the 30s) on the big screen when they were first released. What a joy that would have been.
