Wait, what? Silent Siren and Morlock were some of the first people I encountered here and I never saw them misbehave; though I did find it strange she changed her profile picture so often. I was also curious how she amassed so many posts as well. What happened? I think Blue Jay and that young girl (don't something) are the only ones left I recognize from when I first joined. I felt a negative vibe from Silent Siren from the get go. Seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. Then I saw a post of hers in classic film that sealed my impression of her. I was indifferent to Morlock until he agreed with something in the same SS post.
Not surprised people like that are among the most active users. Too bad because they both could have been solid contributors.
This is definitely true. She'd posted about "not liking" actress Norma Shearer and confessed to having seen only one film of hers. When I very POLITELY suggested she might watch a few more Shearer movies before denigrating her so horribly, Silent Siren had a meltdown. She called me every name in the book and got others to do the same. I let it go. Then, in another thread about "first troll shots fired," people were talking about a particular member whom they didn't like and wanted to ban...and the site had only been operational for a few days! When I wrote something along the lines of, "let this be a new slate, and let's forget about the IMDB," Silent Siren had another meltdown, followed by "kuatorises," who jumped on the old bandwagon. They told me I had my head up my "keister," amongst other sweet-natured tidbits. After more calls for my account to be deleted, I contacted the administrators. Within a few hours, she'd disappeared completely. I didn't want to complain about her, but that kind of abuse has to be nipped in the bud. Apparently, she didn't take well to criticism and decided to delete her account. Oh, well...that's entirely her decision. She could've chosen to play nice, instead. But noooo.
