Why were there so many (re: 4) LGBT characters? Isn't that the reality of high school these days? Especially an affluent LA one. Here's what bothers me about you types: you get outraged at media for the mere depiction of people as existing, then say the media are the ones with an agenda for not filtering them out. Btw, the only character I remember as particularly political is the one played by Jonah Hill's sister, and most of her story is about her being an out of touch snob (so...exactly what you see liberal feminists as). And again, this is supposed to be an uppity high school in LA. It'd be unrealistic if there wasn't a character like that. Wilde is a self described activist. She literally talks about her movie and being "woke" and feminism and the political messages in her movie.
You're outraged by people noticing she has and is pushing an agenda when she goes around talking about it CONSTANTLY.
