I love me some Fred Sanford... Here he is at his most characteristically blunt and hilarious... (This would never fly today...) And it's fitting, too, because my dad and I bond over this show. Neither one of us really liked Archie Bunker that much. For my dad and I, Fred was clearly funnier and more likeable. Plus, Archie Bunker was never an intelligent person. (And he had the nerve to call his wife a 'dingbat') Fred was sly as a fox!
