I’m disgusted Celtic gave Neil Lennon the job so get your money on Rangers next season – Hotline:
Lewis Doyle, Limerick, said: “It was a great day for the Celtic family but again the board disappoints by appointing Lennon.
“Yes, history shows what he did as a player and his first spell as manager as well as this stint as interim boss.
“When Hearts were ahead you could see in his face that he didn’t have a clue what to do. He’s a lucky man and the board have shown they are content being No.1 in Scotland but that’s all finished now.”
Jimmy Murray, Edinburgh, said: “I’m absolutely disgusted Neil Lennon has got the Celtic job. It’s biscuit tin mentality again. Get your cash on Rangers for the league next year.”
Willie Watt, Coatbridge, said: “The joy of the treble Treble has gone.
"Lawwell has once again gone for the cheap option and offered the job to a man who left the club five years ago stating that he couldn’t take the club any further.
“If I had thought for a minute that Lennon would be offered the position then I would have had serious doubts about renewing my season ticket.
“I can’t see us winning nine-in-a-row, never mind 10.”
And Rangers fans have also welcomed the news.
