He is suggesting that the only reason Avatar made as much money as it did is because you had to pay 3 extra dollars for the 3D glasses. I figured but it's so odd considering ticket prices are higher than 10 years ago & EndGame is in 3D which means a surcharge, and also in Imax which is a 20+ dollar ticket.
