Had 2 smallish heads of red cabbage I wanted to use up, but didn't feel like cooking them in a pot of boiling water like I normally do, so I looked online to see how I could cook them in the oven. I got this instruction:

I had more sliced up cabbage than I could safely fit on a flat sheet, so I put it all in a big oval baking pan, roasted it in the oven as per instructions, and it turned out really well. Oh, and I had 2 small turnips I wanted to use up, so I chopped those up and added them to the mix. This is how it turned out:
Will have some of this with some Polish sausage or knockwurst, a little sauerkraut, fried potatoes, and some beer.
