It’s a tradition now for the critics to complain about the lack of engaging human characters in every Godzilla movie. Even when they try (the 2014 movie), people hate it. I’m not saying the critics are wrong, but it’s such a predictable knock at this point.
Why don’t they just make a Godzilla movie taking place in the Jurassic period? A 90 minute movie with no dialogue and only telling the story of Godzilla throwing down with some other Kaiju in the time of the dinosaurs would be sweet.
