Why is it, that you are not suppose to change your team?

Sports is life, especially if you grow up in a Big 4 city in the US. Philadelphia teams, with a few random exceptions, have sucked more than they’ve been good during my lifetime, but the thought of dropping them FOR ANOTHER TEAM is absurd to me. True, I barely follow the Flyers now, but I’ll never start rooting for, say, the Penguins or Capitals. I mean, I’m pulling for the Blues, but that’s also partly for my dislike of Boston teams. I’m not about to go out and get a Brett Hull jersey. If you were raised in and live in Dubuque, Iowa, you’re a free agent. Root for whatever team you like. But if you’re from Philly or New York or Boston or Chicago etc. then you’d better root for one of those teams. If you don’t then you are a pussy Cowboys fan.
