Considering game shows are considered Reality there are quite a few. I know Candid Camera is from like 1948. But some people don’t count those or competition shows.
When I think of reality tv I think more Kardashians and Housewives. And I think the first that was like that was An American Family.
The earliest ones I can personally remember were Real World, The Osbournes, Jackass, Viva la Bam, and Laguna Beach.
Should probably throw a shout out to Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, and Cribs.
