Another Jean Harlow & Clark Gable the barrel tub in Red Dust (1932) Vantine: [taking a bath] What's the matter? Afraid I'll - shock the duchess? Don't you suppose she's ever seen a French postcard?
Dennis Carson: You'll let those curtains down if its the last bath you'll ever take! For good measure, Harlow repeated the scene - as fictional Lola Burns, supposedly doing retakes on Red Dust - in Bombshell (1933): Sans Gable, and with Pat O'Brien playing director of said retakes. Omigosh, how right you are! Thanks, thanks and more thanks. And it explains how it got past the Breen office: didn't exist yet!
