Holds up pretty well, except for one big plot hole in the film: why they steal the Enterprise and head to Genesis - in the film they didn't Spock body had come back to life so they had no reason to go to Genesis, yet they did - what they needed to do at that point in the film was to take McCoy to Vulcan.
