I found it to be a good nautical spy-thriller. Story can be a little convoluted, but the pacing is tight, action set-pieces are poised and Anthony Hopkins gives a stalwart performance alongside an amusing Robert Morley. There’s a real James Bond feel to it. Definitely one of the more entertaining Alistair MacLean film adaptions.
