Seriously though, If you don't mind me asking you this.....What do you honestly think of My own Idea in My OP ?

I'm not enough of a Trek fan to really say. I'm not "hip" to all the Trek events, so I really have no idea on how original your story would be, and it would be the ingenuity and creativity that would give me any opinion.

So, for now, I'm all for your scenario. Go with it.
