Or maybe it [Crank (2006)] did do what it was trying to do perfectly and it just isn't the kind of think I find entertaining.
but just like how the level of interesting/entertaining vary (basically my 6-10/10), so does the low end of the spectrum(1-5/10(well sort of more 1-4/10 as 5/10 is basically average for me which is not bad but ultimately more of a negative score)) to. so it's not like I would immediately call something 'interesting', great. then on the other end of that equation I would not immediately call something 'uninteresting', boring. since boring represents that more bottom area of movies in general where as say 'great' (or similar words) would represent more of that upper echelon of movies.
I agree there are different degrees of uninteresting, but once a movie becomes uninteresting is going to become boring for me to one extent or another.
I can see why you said that as I would say that applies to me to some degree to as even movies I rate 'below average', since they tend to be generally dull/uninteresting (and thereabouts), I guess one could say that is some form of 'boredom', but it's just not that full blown ZERO interest level of boredom yet. so I am not as quick to label something 'boring' til it reaches that point it's totally boring and I can't finish it. then at which point I call it outright boring. basically it gives more value to the word boring when someone does not overuse it, which is why I tend to do things like this.
Please don't reply with a novel, because your replies also start to become uninteresting and boring to me when they are overly long. I'm saying that not to be rude, but as a matter of fact.
Sure, but what I said above needs to be said pretty much to get my point across. so I can't just say a few words and stop. some people have attention span issues if they can't at least read some of what I said even though I realize I typed a novel in my initial post and I realize some won't read it all because of that.
My problem with the OP is he is making a baseless assumption.
