I basically agree with all of that and I appreciate you keeping your reply relatively short and to the point.
p.s. hell, I probably have a attention span issue to some degree myself as if someone is saying quite a bit to me in person for example... I probably am going to miss a good portion of what they say especially if it's something I am not already fairly familiar with etc. it's nothing against them, it's just what my mind does (like I would not be surprised if I am average at best in this regard as it seems like some people can say quite a bit to another person and they immediately pick it up). like I can't help it. sure, there could be occasions if they are talking about something I don't find that interesting, it's that much more likely ill tune out. but even if it's something I need to know if it's not something easy to pick up ill have to go on about it a bit etc. I am sure you get the gist
; I guess I could say tend to learn better more visually than through hearing. because even with text on a screen, if I don't get something initially I can always re-read it to pound it into my head.blah blah blah, ill stop so it don't start approaching novel status on you. but I just figured I would mention that in the "p.s." section

My problem with the OP is he is making a baseless assumption.
like I mentioned in my initial post, ill try to keep this somewhat shorter...
it seems some are quick to label a movie 'boring' even if it's only somewhat uninteresting or dull (and the like wording) to them. like instead of having something like....
5/10 = average
4/10 = below average
3/10 = bad
2/10 = boring
(1/10 = greatly dislike)
...they seem to go from about average to boring with no in-between. which devalues the word 'boring' in general since it seems to be a bit to commonly used (this assumes my assumption is accurate in that they are people who go from 'average' to 'boring' without any real inbetween stuff etc).
that's basically what we got a issue with.
There are movies I rate 5.5/10 that I consider boring. They just aren't mind-numbingly boring. Like I said, there are levels to consider.
That still qualifies as boring.
OP didn't say the critics said Ninja Assassin was the most boring movie ever made. Relatively boring is still boring. You are splitting hairs.
I know what boredom feels like, so it feels like you telling me what I consider boring and not boring. If I tell you that I think some movies I rate 5/10 are boring, than you just have to take my word on it.
