The casting was diverse though overall and the biggest issue would be yet another white guy coming to the aid of natives.
I think Avatar flopped that a little but in the end Jake still arrived to rescue them like the second coming of Jesus.
Actually, I thought the opposite.
I thought they made the White, Straight, 'Merica, Hooo-Rah! Marine the idiot.
The tribal/ethnic people saved him. He was living life with his eyes closed, ignorant to the ways of the universe and spiritual life.
