I think it's you who isn't using your imagination. A bow allows for quick use of dozens of different types of arrowhead functions. You can't get that with a gun. You'd have to have multiple types of barrels.

Plus, if you really want to blow something up a simple grenade carries more explosive power than anything you could put on an arrow.

For one thing, you can't throw a grenade as far as you can shoot an arrow. For another, it's nowhere close to as accurate.

But you're really not seeing the full potential here. We're not just talking about explosives. We're talking about electrical bursts, heat bursts, EMPs, cables, magnetic heads, nets, parachutes, smoke, sonic frequencies, gas/poison, etc., etc. The bow allows for limitless types of weaponry that are immediately accessible. It's actually a shame they haven't brought this to the SW universe yet.

Look, you're probably right. My point is, why go through all that when you can just shoot a guy?
