But you're really not seeing the full potential here. We're not just talking about explosives. We're talking about electrical bursts, heat bursts, EMPs, cables, magnetic heads, nets, parachutes, smoke, sonic frequencies, gas/poison, etc., etc. The bow allows for limitless types of weaponry that are immediately accessible. It's actually a shame they haven't brought this to the SW universe yet.
She's a new character, she gets a different weapon. Chewie has a crossbow, Han used a blaster, Luke used a light saber, Rey used a staff, Boba Fett and his dad used all kinds of contraptions...new girl gets something new. They should have put a bow and arrow in Rose's hands; might have made her appealing.
