Hi spiderwort. Did you know Barbara Barrie won the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival for 'One Potato, Two Potato' (1964)? I didn't. I'd like to see this movie. She came back to theatre recently for the work of playwright Joshua Harmon who's been making waves across the theatre world.
I know 'The Incident' because of our resident Martin Sheen fan, Linda(?).
No, I didn't know that Barrie won the Cannes Award, but I'm not surprised. She also deserved an Oscar - or at least a nomination. And I'd love to see her on stage. Something I never thought of her doing.
Anyway, if you haven't seen One Potato, Two Potato, I urge you to do so. You will not be disappointed. It's really special.
