This evening Nations League final will be played. At the start of this new 'friendlies-replacing' tournament, there were 55 teams. Now there are only 2 left: Portugal & the Netherlands. I have no idea how this tournament will age, but maybe it becomes kind of a big deal in the future so I'm excited to watch tonight's game. It would also be nice if we (the Dutch) finally get another trophy after 1988, even if it's not a World Cup or EURO one. And it will be an interesting match up, espeically between the Portugese forwards (mostly Ronaldo) and the Dutch defense with De Ligt & Van Dijk.
Expected XI Netherlands: Cillessen; Dumfries, De Ligt, Van Dijk, Blind; De Roon, De Jong, Wijnaldum; Promes, Memphis, Babel Most likely subs: Aké, Pröpper, Bergwijn, De Vrij, L. de Jong, Van de Beek
Expected XI Portugal: Patricio; Semedo, Fonte, Dias, Guerreiro; Carvalho, Fernandes, Neves, Silva; Sousa, Ronaldo Most likely subs: Cancelo, Fonta, Moutinho, Guedes, Sousa, Pizzi
Netherlands' last 10 games: 5 wins (against Belarus, England, France, Germany & Peru), 4 draws (against Belgium, Italy, Germany & Slovakia), 1 loss (against Germany). They made 19 goals and conceded 11 goals.
Portugal's last 10 games: 4 wins (against Italy, Poland, Scotland & Switzerland) , 5 draws (against Croatia, Italy, Poland, Serbia & Ukraine) & 1 loss (against Uruguay)
