It’s not a bad idea, and the big benefit is that deliberate fudging of ranking points earned/lost in friendlies has disappeared. Remember how a few years ago both Romania, Czech Republic and Switzerland, despite being no more than second tier sides at best, somehow managed to get ranked in the top 10 and got seeded for World Cups / Euros ? This will hopefully eliminate that.....
