41/1000
I would like to have seen 'Look, Homeward, Angel' by Thomas Wolfe (1929) in the Family and Self titles.
And Yukio Mishima's 'Forbidden Colours' (1953) under Love.
And perhaps Truman Capote's 'In Cold Blood' under crime, although he called it a non-fiction novel and so it might not qualify.
I scarcely read novels anymore. It's a pity. If I do read a novel it will be from years, even decades, ago. It might even be a re-read.
41 out of a thousand isn't a lot, is it. There's never been enough time, brah - even less now.
