Brazil hosts the 2019 edition of the Copa America. All ten members of the South American confederation take part, along with two guests to make up the numbers, Japan and Qatar. Three groups of four, best two in each group plus the two best third place teams advance to the quarter-finals.
Group A Brazil Bolivia Venezuela Peru
Group B Argentina Colombia Paraguay Qatar
Group C Uruguay Ecuador Japan Chile
Brazil will be missing Neymar, who got injured in the last friendly just before the start of the tournament. Messi will be back with Argentina, and Suarez will be in the squad for Uruguay.
Chile are the two-time defending champions, having won the 2015 edition at home and the special centennial edition one year later in the USA (beating Argentina in the finals both times).
