And they may be right, but the point is that the tempter is Satan, not God, and no matter what you think God's role was in the temptation (bearing in mind that there is also an argument that God IS Satan) the fact is the story implicates Satan and there is a good reason for that. Everything is God's fault. Any statement that leads to that main point is up for grabs. Well God IS the source of everything so at the end of the day it was all caused by God, if God is also Omniscient and out of time then he knew it was going to go that way. It's hard to relieve the creator of blame if you hold it to be omniscient.
I am simply pointing out that the narrative is that it was not God in the garden, and (although it is actually not mentioned) generally it is thought to be Satan that tempts Eve, there must be a reason that it was written that way, and it also means that Eve was not the one at fault.
