The very fact that you had to put fathered in inverted commas is proof of you clutching at straws, I mean you do realise that God did not actually fuck Mary right? You DO realise how functionally stupid the whole concept is anyway, right? It is contradictory and EVERY Christian has to go through hoops of illogic to even get some kind of story straight. Face it, God in the Bible is male because males had all the power and wrote the Bible. The convolutions of logic that Christians have posted on here to explain the sex question of God and let alone the extreme convolutions required to even try to explain the Trinity, is frankly embarrassing. Yes I do realise how functionally stupid your entire attempt to make God male is, I notice you are incapable of pointing out any hoop sof illiogic I have jumped through. You do have a point, god is portrayed as male in the bible when in English, yes that has a little to do with patriarchy and a little to do with how language gets used, what you fail to see is that god is not actually male, the whole idea of a spirit being having a gender is frankly laughable. I also notice you failed to address the part of my post where I showed that God being referred to as male is figurative, but of course you have to do that so you can hold on to your feminist talking point that you think destroys religion.
