You're also not a kid who became interested in the character because of the films. Do you really think kids who look up the cinematic Captain America as a role model are going to be at all amused when they discover he's a goose-stepping Nazi now in the comics? Haven't they had 6+ years of Captain America comics since his first film came out? How long do they have to wait? Are you saying they could never do this storyline because somebody might read it for the first time? Are you under the impression that things won't go back to normal at some point? I don't see what you're freaking out about. Frankly it's the first story I've heard about in awhile that's got me interested in buying a comic. And in those last six years, Marvel has been screwing Cap over repeatedly between taking away being Captain America, making him old, then making him evil, and then making him evil again. No, I don't think things are going to go back to normal, because apparently normal Steve Rogers isn't good enough for Marvel Comics, and somehow CA: Civil War being the highest grossing film of 2016 isn't enough to prove that there is an audience for plain ol' Boyscout Steve Rogers. So tell me what exactly IS a good jumping on for any new young readers, because I'm not seeing one.
