I was exaggerating a wee bit, but yeah I think 5 bucks would be more reasonable. With millions of subscribers, I think $1 or $2 bucks would be even better.

As for the question,even if I miss the boards, I wouldn't remove my ad blocker nor pay a monthly subscription fee.

They still have IMDBPro, but it is geared more towards the business side of Hollywood and for professionals such as agents, actors, production companies etc. I paid for a subscription at one time because I was interested in looking up more details on stats, but there was nothing upgraded on the forum section.
